12 great heroines VIEWS FOR 12 GREAT ARTISTS ARTIST
Recently my wife was devoted to look for iconic images of super-heroines to file them in a folder and to use as profile picture or just to have them there (of course I ended up with advice). She has always been outside the world of comics, despite my great love, but I suppose that both the pitcher goes to the source ... something has to stick ...
Finally, it is something that does not really matter, but using that right now it's your birthday, I dedicate this post, something that had never done before in the history of the blog. This is a large selection of versions (mostly covers) of heroin by 12 great artists dedicated to Maritza.

THE PERFECT 11: SLICE OF LIFE IS COMIC ART
We've reached the last chapter of "normal" from The Perfect Pencils, after the two stages he will have already commented on several occasions and that will mean the real end to this whole exercise that you've been taking. But for now we will focus on the post in question, this one, which is devoted to the genre slice of life, typically define American style comics manners, realistic, autobiographical or whatever you want to call. The slice of life is a genre very bullish on today, especially indie comics at or author, where in recent years as the great author Adrian Tomine (which is out by the hair off my list) have given us many works of autobiographical style. Come to my Top 5, the last of this series (the two stages, just to make them more special, will be Top 10):

Well, finally in the latter genus have regained technical draw as happened on three previous occasions, notably in the noir genre (Raymond and Colan), science fiction (Corben and Wood) and the super-heroic (Kirby and Byrne). Well then, failing to know your opinions about this genre, I would urge the next two special posts that will terminate the subject, the perfect for comics artists unclassifiable, atypical, or surrealist artists and totals, able to shine in highest of any genre.
