Blood Gush After Labour

WISHES YOU HAPPY HOLIDAYS WITH 12 GRAPES (IN THE FORM OF ART GENE COLAN) and a desire

In the beginning was to put Merry Christmas in the title of the post, but since the Christmas Day itself has passed and I found it impossible to end the post to publish sooner, the better we leave in a happy holiday season in general ... family commitments, you know ...

As for the month of December, the publisher Metro had the brilliant idea to pay tribute to Gene Colan by publishing three volumes full of interesting material and unprecedented in our country's great artist (Phantom Zone, Wonder Woman, Jemma: Son of Saturn and Nathaniel Dusk), I can not think of a better way to congratulate the Christmas by joining the tribute to Colan and returning to enjoy his mastery to dominate the lights and shadows with the stylus.

During the month of March I spent a tribute to Colan into three parts, first with an article after with a selection of his wonderful art , and finally some recommendations of his works here and not published with links to 5 wonderful blogs that joined the tribute to Gene Colan , making it bigger and broader. Well ... to learn all of what was to be published this month by Metro in December devoted to Colan, who arrived there to suggest that what we had claimed in some posts might have gotten taken into account in the editorial at the time of making the decision. I do not I have that very clear, but it is true that we must continue to claim to certain authors and certain works from our humble but persistent blogs full of good intentions and love by the 9 th Art.

With all this just to say that, as I welcome this initiative of Metro, I also want to instigate from our blogs continue claiming (this is the desire to which I referred) works as Haggarth Victor de la Fuente, the Mytek the British Fleetway, the Gasoline Alley by Frank King, the Avengers of Roger Stern and John Buscema or THUNDER Agents's always great Wally Wood, among other works. Who knows, maybe the requests do not always fall on deaf ears ... also remember the long and persistent work Beroy vindicating has conducted long Bruce on his blog (also supported by other blogs as of Paul ) and finally has resulted in the publication of Dreaming by Glénat.

Looking to March, more or less when completely finished the collection of posts from The Perfect Pencils, including fireworks end, I promise to make or propose any kind of joint action to try to reclaim some of these works is well worth published conditions. Meanwhile it is worth following the claims of great artists who normally perform patriotic Jesus on his blog, The Phantom of Joan Boix included.

This has been the desire, then twelve grapes:
